We are seeking a talented and passionate Emergency Room Veterinarian to join our dynamic healthcare team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to practice high-quality emergency medicine on a variety of animal patients. As an ER Veterinarian, you will be a part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our patients. You will be working alongside a team of highly skilled and experienced veterinary professionals, all dedicated to providing the best possible care for our patients.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing immediate care to emergency patients, including initial examination, diagnostic testing, and treatment.

  • Performing emergency surgeries as necessary.

  • Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.

  • Communicating effectively with pet owners about the condition of their pets, the treatment options available, and the potential outcomes.

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care.

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine and emergency care.

Qualifications:


  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with significant experience in emergency medicine.

  • Board certification in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) or completion of a residency in ECC is highly desirable.

  • A current license to practice veterinary medicine.

  • Excellent surgical skills, with experience in emergency surgery.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners.

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
