Overview

Emergency Room Technician (36 hrs/rotating) (TPI/Temple Transport Team) (255469).

Responsibilities
  • Under limited supervision, plan, direct, and evaluate total patient care as part of an EMS team and function in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy.
  • Orient and train transport personnel.
  • Relate effectively with others for continuity of care; maintain positive relations with coworkers, referring and receiving organizations; participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel.
  • State Driver's License must be in good standing, 3 points or less.
  • Drive and operate specially equipped emergency vehicles to specified locations at a safe and controlled speed, in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and standards.
  • EMSVO Credentialing is required.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Non Degree Program Emergency Medical Technician Required
Experience
  • 1 year experience working as an EMT Required
  • 1 year experience driving a Type III Ambulance Required
Licenses
  • Drivers License Required
  • EMS Vehicle Operator Required
  • Basic Life Support Required
  • Cert Emergency Medicine Tech Required
