Job summary
Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Palma Sola Free-Standing Emergency Room in Bradenton, FL. This full-time weekend night position requires ED experience and Florida RN licensure.
You will provide high-quality nursing care, collaborate with physicians, administer IVs and medications, and monitor patients using essential medical equipment. Candidates must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification, and CPI within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Florida RN licensure.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
- Current PALS through American Heart Association.
- Current TNCC Certification.
- Current NIH Stroke Certification.
- CPI required within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
- Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
