Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is hiring a Registered Nurse I to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care under general supervision. You will use the nursing process to deliver safe, effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve positive outcomes.

Minimum training includes an Associate degree in nursing, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. SC RN licensure (compact allowed), BLS, PALS, and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure by SC Board or a compact state.
• BLS certification required (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR/Healthcare Provider).
• PALS required.
• ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
