Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia seeks experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. Choose shifts that fit your availability with a local staffing team that offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM–11:30 PM.

Responsibilities include triage, administering medications, and coordinating care with physicians. Active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and facility credentialing readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
