Responsibilities include mentoring new staff, maintaining care plans, accurate documentation, and educating patients and families about medications, testing, and self-care strategies.

Qualifications

• ADN required and active RN license in KS or a compact state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS/PALS may be required per department.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under physician direction.
• Mentor new staff and students.
• Maintain comprehensive care plans and accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and families on care, meds, and self-care.
