Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Registered Nurse.

Shift: Part Time, 11a-11:30p, 24 hours a week, EOW, EOH

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for delegating patient care to other healthcare team members.

• Provides total, comprehensive care to patients by applying the nursing process systematically according to hospital policy.
• Communicates proactively with the healthcare team about the plan of care, patient condition changes, progress, discharge plan, and other relevant information.
• Documents assessment/reassessment, plan, interventions, and outcomes according to policy, interpreting and utilizing clinical data in the plan of care.
• Documents pain assessment, fall risk, and wound risk and their respective plans of care.
• Performs accurate and thorough nursing physical assessments.
• Participates in discharge planning using a multidisciplinary approach.

Education and Training:

• BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
• Current BCLS certification required or obtained during orientation.
• ACLS certification required or obtained during orientation if applicable to area of practice.
• Professional certifications preferred.

Experience:

• Prior clinical experience preferred.
