Job summary

WellTech Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital ED in Porterville, CA. The role covers newborn to geriatric patients with strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Requirements include CA RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS, with 3+ years acute care for sign-on eligibility. Expect 12-hour shifts, diverse emergencies, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• 3+ years acute care experience for sign-on bonus eligibility.
• MICN certification within 2 years of start or transfer.
• CPI certification within 1 year of department assignment.
• ESI Triage certification/course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and identify patient needs.
• Provide individualized nursing care using the Nursing Process.
• Care for patients of all ages across the age spectrum.
• Safely administer medications and perform unit-specific procedures.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Develop and implement plans of care and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families; maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow hospital policies and infection prevention protocols.
• Participate in emergency response and collaborate with care team.
• Maintain readiness for codes and high-acuity emergencies.
