vTech Solution is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room in California. The RN will provide skilled acute care, assess patients, plan treatments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include an active RN license, at least 1 year of ER experience, ACLS/BCLS/NIH Stroke Scale/PALS certifications, and proficiency with Epic EHR. Weekend/holiday coverage and a 1:4 patient ratio are common.

Formación

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans in the ER setting.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records.
• Provide emergency nursing care adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
• Manage patient care ratios, typically 1:4, ensuring safety and quality.
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as needed to meet unit demands.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality.
