Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver rapid, safe, and compassionate care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions. You will triage, monitor, administer medications, and assist with emergencies in a fast-paced ED environment.

The ideal candidate has ADN or BSN, current RN license, BLS, and ER experience. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for this role at MedCadre.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Previous ER/Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Monitor vital signs and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and assist with resuscitation procedures.
• Perform nursing procedures and support diagnostic testing.
• Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency care protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
