Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to join our dedicated team.

Candidates should hold a Florida RN license plus current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIH Stroke Certification. CPI within 90 days of hire is preferred; 1–3 years of emergency nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• Current Florida RN licensure.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification through American Heart Association.
• PALS certification through American Heart Association.

• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and philosophy.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs and monitoring patient vital signs.
• Administers IVs and medications as prescribed and uses medical equipment to monitor patient health.

Education

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

Current RN licensure in Florida

Current BLS through American Heart Association

Current ACLS through American Heart Association
