Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs professional nursing duties for adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department.
• Floats to medical/surgical, pediatric, and obstetric units as staffing requires.
• Provides guidance and leadership to staff; participates in in-services and orientation.
• Assumes charge nurse duties as assigned, including staffing and supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and patient safety initiatives.
