Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita seeks an experienced Emergency Services RN to join our day shift in the Sahuarita, AZ facility. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, coordination with the care team, and delivering patient-centered care in a high-acuity Emergency Department.

The RN will administer medications, participate in life-saving interventions, and educate patients and families. A strong nursing foundation and state licensure are required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure in good standing per state requirements
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Care for patients across the emergency department with age-appropriate education and support.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols throughout patient care.
