Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a registered nurse to join the ED team. You will work with a multidisciplinary care team to monitor patients, administer medications, document care and educate patients.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 2-3 years of ED or acute care experience.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required prior to ED orientation.
• PALS to be completed within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
