Requirements include an active RN license, a minimum of 2 years ER experience, and current BLS and ACLS certifications; credentialing may be required. Per diem roles offer evening and night shifts to suit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience in an acute-care setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations.
• Complete necessary assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope and facility rules.
