Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. You can choose shifts that fit your availability while benefiting from competitive pay, daily pay options, and a local support team.

Expect evening and night shifts, flexible scheduling, and the ability to work as little as one shift per month. Comprehensive credentialing requirements and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
