Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem hospital opportunities. You can choose shifts that fit your availability and enjoy competitive per diem pay, daily pay with RapidPay, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include assessing patients in acute-care ER, triage, administering treatments, and coordinating with physicians. Active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2 years ER experience required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 2+ years of ER acute-care experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
