Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital placements. Flexible scheduling and the ability to choose shifts around your availability are offered.

Responsibilities include triage, administering medications, monitoring patient condition, and coordinating care with physicians. Active RN license, BLS and ACLS required; credentialing and local compliance ensured by FCN.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
