Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to assume responsibility for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in the emergency room or other emergent critical care areas.

Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality care, adhering to professional standards, and contributing to a collaborative emergency department team in Middletown, CT.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver patient care in the emergency department or other emergent critical care areas.
• Provide care coordination and promote patient safety in fast-paced clinical settings.

Job description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or otheremergent critical care areas.

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state ofpractice
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
