Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess, triage, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, evidence-based interventions.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, 1+ year ER/acute care experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of ER/acute care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional ER certifications (e.g., CEN) are a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compliance with credentialing and onboarding requirements.

Responsabilités

• Conduct rapid and accurate assessment of patients on arrival to the emergency department.
• Initiate appropriate interventions for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other emergencies.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and professional standards of nursing practice.
• Support patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their loved ones.
• Participate in ongoing training, skills development, and continuing education as required.
