Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Basic medical terminology and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/non-direct patient care under licensed supervision.
• Observe and report patient data/status to the RN.
• Respond to acuity changes and emergent situations as directed.
• Maintain current knowledge and BLS certification.
• Serve as a preceptor to new employees.
• Promote professional relationships and adherence to policies.
• Uphold safety/culture of safety and proper body mechanics.
• Operate department software and maintain downtime procedures.
