Job summary

Dartmouth Health’s New London Hospital is seeking an RN to integrate emergency care for patients and apply nursing standards across the care process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process, and document accordingly.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, NH RN eligibility, and ACLS/BLS certification with at least two years of clinical experience; night shift, 0.90 FTE (36 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in caring for all patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision.

• Adheres to established practice standards and procedures in medication administration and in-patient care activities.
• Documents care provided using hospital standards.
• Provides education to patients and families based on assessed learning needs.
• Follows the Standards of Practice for the Emergency Services Department.
