Job summary

Dartmouth Health’s New London Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for night shift in the Emergency Services Department. You will apply the nursing process, assess patients, plan and implement care, and document outcomes to ensure high-quality emergency care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, NH RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, and at least two years of clinical practice; ED experience preferred. Work 0.90 FTE (36 hours/week) at $38.13–$53.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice required.
• ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in caring for all patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision of care.
• Provides age-appropriate care to the population served.
• Adheres to established standards and procedures at NLH, including medication administration and inpatient care activities.
• Documents care provided using hospital standards.
• Educates patients and families based on learning needs assessment.
• Follows the Standards of Practice for the Emergency Services Department.
