Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an experienced RN for fast-paced Emergency Department care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a patient-centered approach, collaborating with families and the healthcare team to ensure clear communication across the continuum of care.

You will educate patients and families on illness management and post-care needs, participate in safety and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills; safety-conscious in a clinical setting.

Job description

Join our Emergency Department team to provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced environment.
Utilize critical nursing skills to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards.
Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and injuries, including post-treatment care and medication administration.
Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN license
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role
