Emergency Room - ER RN - Travel Nurse

We’re looking for Emergency Room (ER) RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Decatur, TX. The right RN should have 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain patient vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Perform basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, provide IV therapy, maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, ENPC, TNCC certification (or additional certifications may be required before assignment).
• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds (lifting up to 50 pounds may be required).
• Good stress‑management skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
