Job description

Emergency Room RN – Travel Nurse (TotalMed)

Immediate travel nurse opening in Greenbrae, CA. We are looking for an ER RN with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• With a diverse team of caregivers, evaluate, triage, and execute care according to procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care.
• Document medical history, check allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor physical and emotional well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, deliver IV therapy, apply and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications required; additional certifications may be required before assignment.
• Able to stand, walk, lift 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
