Job summary

Gabrielli Truck Sales Ltd. is seeking an experienced Emergency Roadside Diesel Technician to work on the road from a fully equipped Mobile Service Vehicle in Montgomery, NY.

You will perform maintenance and repairs, diagnose issues, and ensure DOT standards are met while keeping detailed records and coordinating with dispatch. The role requires 1–3 years of diesel fleet maintenance, a valid driver's license with clean MVR, own tools, and the ability to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• 1–3 years of diesel technician or fleet maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various physical conditions.
• Self-motivated and capable of working alone in a mobile setting.
• Must own tools necessary for mobile repair and maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• CDL License and/or NYS Heavy Duty Inspector's License is a plus (not required).
• Willingness to obtain CDL/license as needed.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled roadside maintenance and minor repairs (e.g. oil/filter changes, lighting, tires, greasing, minor component replacements).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on commercial trucks and fleet equipment.
• Ensure all repairs meet Federal Motor Carrier DOT standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company systems.
• Operate service tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team leads.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $55.00 Hourly

Are you an experienced Diesel Technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems on the go, and keeping fleets moving? Gabrielli Truck Leasing and Rental is hiring Mobile Diesel Fleet Emergency Technicians (Class A & B) to join our growing roadside service team.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• CDL License and/or NYS Heavy Duty Inspector's License a plus (not required, but willingness to obtain is necessary).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
