Job summary

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time position involves 36 hours per week, day shift (7a-7p) with rotating weekends and holidays under the Nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of New Hampshire with a minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current certification in BCLS required.
• Excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational/time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well as a team member and respond calmly in fast-paced emergencies.
• Computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care and document relevant data.
• Under supervision of the Nursing Team Leader/Clinical Leader and Department Director, participate as a healthcare team member in patient care.
• Provide care in the Emergency Department, including crisis situations and emergencies.
• May participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
