SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest is seeking an experienced Emergency RN for PRN shifts. This role provides direct nursing care in complex assessment settings, adhering to hospital protocols and delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include data collection, triage, diagnosis support, and education to promote safe practice. Requires a nursing degree and BLS/ALS certifications where applicable, with emphasis on emergency nursing expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• 1 year of Emergency RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to patient health and situation.
• Triages patients using age-appropriate and culturally sensitive practices.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
• Identifies outcomes for an individualized plan.
• Implements, coordinates, and educates to promote safe care.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Communicates effectively in all formats.
• Demonstrates professional leadership.
• Applies evidence-based practice to Emergency Nursing care.
