Job summary

Emanate Health Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina is seeking an experienced RN II for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift. The role involves rapid assessment, planning and delivering acute care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include California RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS within 3 months, completion of ED pediatric education within 6 months, and ongoing stroke education.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: BRN-approved pediatric education within 6 months of hire date and yearly thereafter.
• Must have California RN license; BLS, ACLS and PALS within 3 months of hire.
• Must complete Assaultive Violence training within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in emergent/acute settings.
• Provide education to patients and families and perform referrals as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care.
