Job summary

Scotland Health Care System seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department in Laurinburg, NC. The role requires NC or multistate RN licensure and CPR, with preference for TNCC/ENPC/PALS/ACLS within 3 months of hire.

A minimum year in hospital settings, with ER or critical care preferred, is expected. Responsibilities include triage, ongoing assessments, medication administration, patient and family communication, and care coordination with the ED team.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (NC or Multistate).
• Current CPR certification.
• Certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, ACLS preferred or within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments and histories.
• Administer medications and IV fluids per policy with safety checks.
• Coordinate with ED physicians and team to ensure timely patient care.
• Document patient progress and discharge planning in the medical record.
