The Emergency Department at Aurora Medical Center - Mount Pleasant in Wisconsin is a fast-paced unit with 17 beds and up to 4 overflow beds, caring for about 82 patients daily with average stays of 3–6 hours. Qualifications

• Completed accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification; ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in ED or fast-paced setting is a plus but not required before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in the ED using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures; lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience.
