Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse to join a fast-paced team. The role features a 3x12 schedule with rotating weekends and holidays, in-person work, and a $20,000 incentive bonus.

Join a diverse ED team supporting high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting. The position requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing school, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• ACLS and PALS within six months.
• TNCC, NRP, ENPC, CEN preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
