Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• WA RN license, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 12 months.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course within 12 months.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies; administers, oversees and documents medication administration as ordered.
• Assesses patient needs across physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral and spiritual domains; plans and evaluates care.
• Documents care and patient status using nursing process and respects physician orders.
