Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department Tier 2 role. The RN applies nursing processes to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of a diverse patient population with commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

The role requires ED experience, trauma certification, and PA/NJ RN licensure; floating to EDs in the north and east region is possible, with a night shift work schedule. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
• 4 year Previous experience as an RN in an ED setting REQUIRED.
• TRAUMA CERT REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families and staff per hospital values.
• Integrates evidence-based practice and clinical expertise in care delivery.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and education.
• Performs nursing duties following established protocols to ensure safety and quality.
