Job summary

PANHANDLE CLEANING & RESTORATION, INC. in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Remediation Technician to assist with emergency restoration projects. You will report to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift and help preserve items and contents according to instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in two or more areas of emergency restoration such as electronic restoration, fire damage, hurricane and water damage, mold remediation, corrosion control, HVAC, or document restoration.
• Professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for job assignments and complete assigned tasks daily.
• Preserve structural items and contents according to the Project Supervisor’s instructions.
• Inform the Project Supervisor of equipment and materials needed to complete the assignment properly and on schedule.
• Direct laborers in the restoration protocols with clear communication.
• Maintain personnel documentation, hours, and work performed on a given shift.
• Be resourceful in initiating time savings and cost savings for the project.
• Practice on-the-job safety and encourage safety amongst the labor force.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required.
