Job summary

SERVPRO Franchise is hiring a restoration technician to respond to water and fire damage, performing cleanups, repairs and equipment setup. You’ll work as part of a team in property restoration, helping communities recover after disasters.

Ideal candidates have handyman or construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work on-call. Training is provided, and ongoing professional development is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damages, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements with supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients, addressing concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up.
