Job summary

Northeast Power Dry is seeking an Emergency Restoration Technician in New Jersey to help homeowners and businesses recover from water damage, mold, and other emergencies. This hands-on role offers training and opportunities for long-term growth within a supportive team and a company vehicle for eligible positions.

Responsibilities include travel to sites, water extraction, mold remediation, drying, and cleanup, plus setup and monitoring of drying equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Dependable with strong attendance and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable performing physical work in a variety of environments.
• Able to lift equipment and work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces.
• Available to work overtime and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial properties to assist with emergency restoration projects.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, mold remediation, drying, and cleanup services.
• Set up, inspect, and monitor drying equipment.
• Safely remove damaged materials while following company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and fellow team members.
• Assist Crew Chiefs with project completion and daily job responsibilities.
• Help ensure projects are completed efficiently and with high-quality workmanship.
