Job summary

Northeast Power Dry in New Jersey is hiring an Emergency Restoration Technician to support homeowners and businesses after water damage, mold, and other emergencies. You will travel to properties, perform extraction, drying, and cleanup, and help restore spaces to their pre-loss condition.

This hands-on role offers paid training, certification assistance, overtime opportunities, and a team-focused environment with a company vehicle for eligible positions. Weekly pay and 40+ hour weeks are common.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Dependable with strong attendance and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable performing physical work in various environments.
• Able to lift equipment and work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces.
• Available to work overtime and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial properties to assist with emergency restoration projects.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, mold remediation, drying, and cleanup services.
• Set up, inspect, and monitor drying equipment.
• Safely remove damaged materials while following company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and fellow team members.
• Assist Crew Chiefs with project completion and daily job responsibilities.
• Help ensure projects are completed efficiently and with high-quality workmanship.
