Job summary

United Water Restoration Group of South FL is seeking a Mitigation Field Technician to respond to emergency property damage in the Deerfield Beach area. You will assess damage, perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, cleaning, and containment, and communicate clearly with homeowners, insurance representatives, and team members.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of field technician experience, and IICRC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of field technician experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and customer needs.
• Inspect and assess water, fire, mold, or storm damage.
• Explain the restoration and mitigation process clearly to homeowners and business owners.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and structural drying.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment.
• Maintain daily communication with customers regarding job status and next steps.
• Identify safety hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
