Job summary

United Water Restoration Group, based in Orlando, seeks a Remediation Technician to join their first-responder team for water damage mitigation, structural board-up, and on-site cleaning in residential and commercial settings. The role includes equipment setup, field supervision, and maintaining safety and documentation.

Experience in restoration (water, fire, mold) is required; IICRC certifications are preferred. Valid driver’s license and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Restoration industry experience (water, fire, and mold) is required.
• Excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
• Maintains a valid and current driver's license.
• Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Water extraction and mitigation.
• Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration.
• Microbial remediation.
• Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean up.
• Demolition.
• Structural board-up and site stabilization.
• On-location cleaning.
• Equipment setup, monitoring, and breakdown.
• Field management and supervision of temporary labor personnel.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and inventory organization on site and in the warehouse.
• Management of inventories and tools.
• Complete daily progress reports and logs.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.
