Job summary

Premier Restoration Hawaii is seeking a Mitigation Technician to be on the front line after property damage. You will assess damage, stabilize sites, and begin restoration while delivering excellent customer service across Hawaii.

You'll work with an experienced team using specialized equipment, respond to emergencies, handle water extraction, debris removal, and safely perform demanding physical tasks, including lifting 50+ pounds and operating mobile tech.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Enjoys hands-on work and problem solving.
• Works well in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Dependable, professional, and customer-focused.
• Capable of safely lifting 50+ pounds and performing physically demanding work.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and field tech.
• Experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or related trade is preferred.
• Asbestos, mold, or lead abatement certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls involving water, fire, mold, wind, and other property damage.
• Assess damage and help develop mitigation plans.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and other restoration equipment.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, and cleanup.
• Safely remove damaged building materials as part of mitigation.
• Inventory, pack, and transport customer belongings as needed.
• Document job progress using company software and mobile technology.
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the restoration process.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job sites.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Follow all safety policies and industry standards.
