Job summary

Responsibilities include controlling access, patrolling posts, monitoring alarms, and reporting incidents, while upholding life-safety standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, vigilance, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to complete and maintain annual SLED certification.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use security-related software.

Responsibilities

• Control access points and verify credentials for employees and visitors.
• Monitor posts, patrol areas, and security systems.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving safety and security concerns.
• Operate security and monitoring systems (access control, alarms, cameras).
• Monitor fire alarm panels and respond per procedures.
• Prepare clear incident reports.
• De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Provide professional service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
