Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care. This 911 position works closely with the Fire Department on the 48/96 shift, with compensation starting at $57,408 per year, plus credit for experience.

Responsibilities include on-scene leadership, advanced medical care using defibrillators and monitoring equipment, patient communication, and coordination with public safety personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Colorado Paramedic License.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

This is a 911 position that works directly with the Fire Department.

This position works the 48/96 shift.
