Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a CERT Team member at Wilkinson County Correctional Facility in Woodville, MS. You will respond to emergencies, assume command, stabilize incidents, and coordinate with ACA, MTC, and MDOC directives.

Requires high school diploma, valid MS/LA driver’s license, 21+ years old, and 1+ year in law enforcement or military ops. Pre-service firearms/self-defense training is required; full-time with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license in MS or LA with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 1 year experience in law enforcement or military ops, or related tactical response experience.
• Must be 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and serious incidents as CERT team member.
• Assume command on arrival and stabilize, isolate, and contain incidents.
• Prepare written reports and documentation after incidents.
• Attend specialized weapons and tactical training; ongoing refreshers.
