Marksman Security is hiring at Toyota's Georgetown plant for entry-level Emergency Response Officers. You will join an elite team, responding to fire, medical, and hazmat emergencies while supporting safety and operations in a premier manufacturing facility.

The role offers 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM shifts, competitive pay starting at $17.75 per hour, and a $300 signing bonus for meeting physical requirements. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Minimum age 18 with a high school diploma or GED required.
Fire 1 and 2 certifications are required.
EMR or EMT certification is required or preferred.
Current driver’s license is required.
Hazmat Operations is preferred.
Must pass NFPA 1582 physical examination.

Responsibilities

Respond to fire, medical, and hazardous materials emergencies.
Perform fire prevention inspections and safety training.
Work in a fast-paced, high-tech industrial environment.

Essential Job Functions

Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies.
Complete incident reports as required.
Responds to all fire/medical/security/hazmat/threat situations according to Emergency Response Plan and Standard Operating Procedures and Medical Director Protocols.
Performs routine daily/weekly/monthly inspections on fire alarm/fire suppression/and security equipment.
Physically inspect all fire suppression systems, including but not limited to:
- Sprinkler System
- Manual and Automatic Alarm initiating devices
- Fire Panels
- Standpipe Hoses
Perform daily inspections on apparatus, security vehicles, and emergency response equipment.
Patrol facilities for fire or building code violations and additional safety hazards; report to supervisor.
Approve and inspect all hot works and high-hazard hot works and confined space permits.
Participate in daily training on emergency response to maintain readiness.
Maintain compliance with personal Fire/Medical/Hazmat certifications as required by local mandate.
Demonstrate experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a high-pressure environment.
Other duties to be determined by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications: For entry-level

Minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED

EMR or EMT certified

Requirements

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Technology skills: operate access control system, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email.
Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance.
Experience managing multiple tasks and executing radio and telephone communications while performing in a medium to high-pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands.
Possess above-average written and verbal communication skills.
Possess strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public.
