Job summary

Marksman Security LLC in Georgetown, KY is hiring full-time and part-time Emergency Response Officers to join Toyota's manufacturing campus. You will respond to fire, medical, hazmat, and security incidents, perform inspections, and support a high-tech industrial environment.

Entry level starts at $17.75 per hour with a $300 signing bonus for NFPA physical. The role requires 18+, Fire 1 & 2, EMR or EMT certification, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
• Certified Fire 1 and 2 are required.
• EMR or EMT certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Hazmat Operations certification is preferred.
• Pass an NFPA 1582 physical examination.

The Emergency Response Officer position serves as a pipeline to a company within Toyota’s Emergency Response Team.

10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Essential Job Functions:

• Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies.
• Complete incident reports as required.
• Responds to all fire/medical/security/hazmat/threat situations according to Emergency Response Plan and Standard Operating Procedures and Medical Director Protocols.
• Performs routine daily/weekly/monthly inspections on fire alarm/fire suppression/and security equipment.
• Physically inspect all fire suppression systems, including but not limited to:
• Manual and Automatic Alarm initiating devices
• Standpipe Hoses
• Perform daily inspections on apparatus, security vehicles, and emergency response equipment.
• Patrol facilities for fire or building code violations and additional safety hazards; report to supervisor.
• Approve and inspect all hot works and high-hazard hot works and confined space permits.
• Participate in daily training on emergency response to maintain readiness.
• Maintain compliance with personal Fire/Medical/Hazmat certifications as required by local mandate.
• Demonstrate experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a high-pressure environment.
• Other duties to be determined by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications: For entry-level

• Minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED
• Certified Fire 1 and 2
• EMR or EMT certified
• Current Driver’s License
• Hazmat Operations
• Pass an NFPA 1582 physical examination

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Technology skills: operate access control system, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email.
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance.
• Experience managing multiple tasks and executing radio and telephone communications while performing in a medium to high-pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands.
• Possess above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public.
