Job summary

TSMC - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited seeks an Emergency Response Coordinator to support a high-tech facility's safety operations. You will monitor life safety systems, respond to incidents, and coordinate drills and training for employees and contractors.

The role requires a high school diploma, safety audit experience, and strong communication under pressure. Experience with OSHA standards and MS Office is preferred, with shifts including days, evenings, or nights as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; higher degrees are a plus.
• 3+ years safety audit experience.
• OSHA 30 hr training a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Comfortable addressing safety issues with contractors/vendors/TSMC employees.
• Able to work compressed and/or varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-tech facility to ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors.
• Monitor life safety systems and alarms, and respond to emergencies.
• Present training on emergency response topics such as procedures and evacuation.
• Plan and execute emergency drills and desktop exercises.
• Maintain readiness of emergency operations facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Respond to fires, medical, and chemical emergencies, and conduct safety audits.
