Qualifications

• Specialized Experience for GS-09 includes evaluating emergency management plans, coordinating operational readiness, and analyzing emergency preparedness.
• Education options for GS-09 include Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education.
• Combination of Education and Experience may be used to qualify as long as the computed percentage of requirements is at least 100%.
• Specialized Experience for GS-11 includes evaluating emergency management plans, analyzing emergency preparedness, developing training and operations policies, and identifying environmental safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating emergency management plans and coordinating operational readiness.
• Analyze emergency preparedness and contribute to developing training and policies.

Education

Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education

Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education
