Job summary

University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, Department of Radiology, seeks an outstanding Emergency Radiologist to join a high-acuity, team-oriented section serving a busy Level 1 trauma center with a broad clinical population.

The role covers CT, ultrasound, radiography, and some MRI across neurologic, thoracic, MSK, vascular, GI, gyn, and obstetric indications, with resident supervision and a commitment to education and research.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent.
• ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by start date.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of CT, ultrasound, radiography, and some MRI across organ systems.
• Resident or fellow supervision as part of clinical assignments.
• Engage in resident didactic education and scholarly activities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences with Emergency Medicine and Trauma/Acute Care Surgery colleagues.
• Opportunities for neuroradiology-focused emergency/acute care imaging.
